No don't worry - it's not still Monday! It's Tuesday! But, this week we're celebrating inspiring women in Manchester, and we're treating you to TWO episodes of Garrick Chats With... Following yesterdays honest and stunning episode with Maggie Oliver, today we have two more fabulous women sharing their stories.
In this double interview episode, our Intermediates (age 11-14 year olds) spend some time with Katie West. Katie is best known for Disney's Cinderella and Shakespeare's most iconic Hamlet, BUT is also well-known to us as a former Garrick student! In this upbeat interview, you'll be able to find out all about Katie's opinions on costumes for women, and which women in the arts inspire her.
Our second chat was with our students Millie and Susannah, and local superwoman and author Carolann Bruce. Carolann tells us all about running her own Performing Arts Academy: Debut, and kindly opens up about how the arts helped her through her battle with breast cancer.
