Oh, hey! Welcome back to another awesome food filled episode of The Mystic Meals Podcast! This week I'm super excited to have one of my favorite artists joining me at the table... Mr. Steve Czapiewski! He's a vector style illustrator, and creator of the beautifully quirky redhead, Sally at Large! He draws her in all kinds of groovy scenarios that we can all relate to... From everyday stuff like just sitting around and pondering the day, or in movie and pop culture references, or dressed up for your favorite holiday! Sally's become one of my favorite characters of Steve's and seeing his artwork makes me very happy! I just really dig his vibe and aesthetic... His unabashed approach to living life and embracing his fellow artists and as he puts it, stealing their mojo, helps give an interesting and unique perspective on how his mind works. Steve gets candid about his early life and career, what he's learned along the way, what led him towards the horror scene, and how it helped set him on the path to branching out and embracing his own wild and whimsical way of self expression with his many creative talents. And he throws down plates and plates of his favorite things to eat like Coney Islands (them's hot dawgs to you!) Thai food, burgers... White Castle! If you know, you know! 😛 Pizza, gooey buckets of donuts and more! So my pretties... You might want to loosen up your belt buckle for this one!
