Description

Drawing on the insights from the knowledge and lived experience of the team here at EDV, we answer your questions and talk about the ins and outs of inpatient treatment services.

On today's show we're joined by two of EDV's resident Telehealth Nurses, Gemma and Alison, who are both highly experienced in inpatient treatment for eating disorders. If you're feeling unsure if inpatient is the right path for you, we want this episode to give you a better understanding on what to expect.

Gemma and Alison address: what a day might look like when in an inpatient setting, how to know if you need admission and putting yourself out there to get treatment as early as possible. While sometimes inpatient treatment might feel like an 'us against them situation', it's important to remember the treatment team are there to support your recovery and are working with you on beating the eating disorder.
