Description

This week we talk about the 2001 animated film METROPOLIS directed by Rintaro and with a screenplay by Katsuhiro Otomo and based on the manga of the same name created by Osamu Tezuka. We once again crash our podcast car into the themes of robots and humans and their interactions and one's struggle of finding or being denied one's humanity by being "other". Heavy stuff! We also very very briefly talk about Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 for the PlayStation. Here are some reviews I found for the game:

• GameSpot give it a 1.2/10, calling it a "really, really terrible game."
• X-Play said it was "a waste of time and money."
• Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine gave it a 1/5, the second lowest score possible.
• Electronic Gaming Monthly said that "someone crapped in a jewel case and passed it off as a game."

So chew on that for a fuckin minute.
