It's a good place to visit, to take a glimpse now and again, to see how far we've come. But staying there isn't recommended at all. Leave the past there where it belongs, and focus on the great future you have ahead of you.
The past is there to remind us of lessons we may have forgotten, not to be relived over and over and over again.
