Arthur Slade was raised on a ranch in the Cypress Hills of Saskatchewan, Canada. He is the author of thirty one novels including *Amber Fang, The Hunchback Assignments, Dragon Assassin* and *Dust.* His work has sold over half a million copies and won the Governor General’s Award (Canada) and Le Grand Prix d’Imaginaire (France).
