Between rap in the 90’s to rap now, rap has changed its sound. Constantly evolving rap, in this podcast, we take a look how rappers shape the genre, and how the rap of the past and present compare.  In this episode, Michael and Owen dive into the differences between the 90's and current rap. Including an interview with Scott Borkenhagen, Owen’s father who listened to rap in the 90’s. Combined with his insight and their own research, they compare the sounds, styles, and influence of both generations. From N.W.A. to current artists like Lil Uzi Vert, they observe how artists inspire each other and change rap for good.
