We finished up the Chicago Statement commenting on the summary statement, if there’s any room to update the statement, and whether or not we approve of Derek Brown’s proposed update, and if we trust the evangelical intelligentsia of today to do a good job.
* Why is this statement so important?
* Why does summary statement point 2 summarize so many of the objections to inerrancy?
* Was language created for the purpose of revelation?
* Will the people involved in the revision be trustworthy with the task?
* What happened to Josh’s internet (THIS WASN’T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN ANYMORE!!)?
