Today we are discussing a difficult but important topic. It’s a subject we believe needs to be spoken about more openly so mothers know they are not alone. About 10 to 20 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage. But the actual number is likely higher because many miscarriages occur very early in pregnancy — before a person might even know about a pregnancy.
We hear our expert panelists discuss how parents can navigate pregnancy after loss, what resources are available, that often difficult decision to not have more children and being content with the family that one has, and dealing with the changes that the body goes through after loss, how to approach fitness after miscarriage or loss, and a parent's understandable array of mixed emotions and anxiety of losing a child.
