As a product of the Kenya National Theatre, I have witnessed countless talents rise, grow, and make a great impact in society.
However, when you compare the number of artists to the available platforms or the revenue generated, the reality is that it’s not sustainable.
In the just-concluded Kenya Music Festival at Kaaga Girls in Meru, I saw exemplary talent that deserves to be nurtured.
But beyond the certificates awarded—what next for these young artists?
