It is with deep sadness that we bid farewell to Mr. Keith Richardson who was employed as St. Gregory’s Site Manager from 2012 to 2022. Mr. Richardson passed away on 8th January this year. Mr. Richardson took great pride in his previous army career and had many stories to share – pupils and staff enjoyed listening to recounts of those former days. Conversations frequently ended with Tennyson’s famous lines
“ Theirs not to make reply, theirs not to reason why , theirs but to do and die”.
This pupil recording of ‘The Charge of the Light Brigade’ is our tribute to Mr. Richardson – our friend and colleague - who remains in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.
