Welcome to My Secret Life With An Eating Disorder with Maureen Kritzer-Lange (The Queen of Self Esteem) and Founder of the Don't Trust the Mirror Movement.
Maureen is going to take you on a journey, a journey full of twists and turns as she took on her pursuit of thinness. It was a journey of despair, pain, suffering and sadness. A journey of hope, dreams and perseverance. She will be sharing her journals with you that were started when she was a teenager, when she had no one to talk to. Her journals than became her best friend. The good news is her story has a happy ending.... eventually. Today she is a psychoanalyst in private practice in Maplewood, New Jersey and sees patients who struggle with eating disorders, body image and self esteem. She hopes to be able to reach a larger audience to help "them" establish a stronger self esteem.
