I started writing again and wanted to share with you my latest poem. The themes are the same for me now as they were back then, but now I write them from such a different perspective. Back then I was this lost girl suffering from an eating disorder, unsure of my future and lost in a big world trying to figure out how to be an adult.
Today when I still write about feelings, it comes from a place of a woman who has had a successful career helping others deal with their eating disorders. It comes from a woman who knows who she is, where she sits and what her life is about, at least most of the time. And well, my life is still evolving as we all are right now from the perspective of looking back and having so many experiences to include in my thoughts.
