Movie Club Podcast is a Berkreviews.com Moviecast. A while back, Corey (@coreyrstarr) and Jonathan (@berkreviews) both realized they had a ton of movies they'd never seen, but really wanted to knock off their respective gap list. In an effort to work through their respective lists, they started this podcast to ensure they at least check one new film off the list almost every week.
Thus, for a film to qualify for Movie Club one or both of them have to have never seen it or at least not seen it for a long time. They also thought it would be more fun to create themes from which they can choose their movies for each episode.
Theme for December 2018: Through the cracks
With the year coming to a close, it made sense for Jonathan and Corey to try and catch up on any movies released in 2018 that they missed but wanted to see. As per usual, they take turns choosing the movies each week.
Week 4: Leave No Trace (2018)
For the last film of the theme, Jonathan selected Leave No Trace. It is directed by Debra Granik and stars Thomasin McKenzie, Ben Foster, and Jeffery Rifflard. This is one that both Jonathan and Corey are looking forward to watching after hearing nothing but good things about it. This was a blind buy for both and they look forward to ending the years episodes with it.
