It's Corey's favorite time of the year...Spooky season. Thus, Corey (@coreyrstarr) or Jonathan (@berkreviews) started thinking of how to best tackle the month of October. Why not go with horror anthologies! This month, they are picking an anthology that they have never seen or at least not seen in a long time alternating their picks weekly...as they do.
As far as the podcast goes, each episode features an in-depth review of the movie for the week. They begin with a spoiler-free review before diving in completely after the needed spoiler warning. However, before getting into the review of the week, Jonathan and Corey discuss what other movies they've seen since the last episode as well as anything else they feel like discussing. To help them decide which of the many films to watch each month they started creating themes for them all.
Week 4: Nightmare Cinema (2018)
A brand new film that neither Corey nor Jonathan had seen, but comes recommended by friend of the podcast Big Tuna. Nightmare Cinema is, according to IMDb.com, a story where "Five strangers converge at a haunted movie theater owned by The Projectionist (Mickey Rourke). Once inside, the audience members witness a series of screenings showing them their deepest fears and darkest secrets over five tales."
