If you're new to the podcast, Corey (@coreyrstarr) and Jonathan (@berkreviews) both realized they had a ton of movies they'd never seen, but really wanted to knock off their gap list. In an effort to work through their respective lists, they started this podcast to ensure they at least check one new film off the list almost every week.
January Theme: Out of this World
For a movie to qualify for this months theme it must feature some element of alien life coming to Earth or people leaving on a trip in space. While Corey and Jonathan have seen many movies that could qualify, there are still some big ones they have missed.
Sunshine (2007) - Last episode for January
Danny Boyle is a director that both Jonathan and Corey tend to connect with. Sunshine (2007) is a film that Jonathan hadn't even heard of until they started doing this podcast a few years back. Considering the incredible casts that include Cillian Murphy, Rose Byrne, and Chris Evans it a shock that he hasn't seen it. This is one he can't wait to remove from the gap list and hopes it finds a place on another list.
