Description

Finally, 2020 is coming to an end. This year has brought a lot of bad things and one of the most painful has been the impact on the movie industry. December is usually reserved for Through the Cracks, that is movies that Jonathan (@berkreviews) and Corey (@coreyrstarr) missed seeing during the year. Despite theatrical releases being basically non-existent, Jonathan and Corey still found four movies to fill out the month.

As far as the podcast goes, each episode features an in-depth review of the movie for the week. They begin with a spoiler-free review before diving in completely after the needed spoiler warning. However, before getting into the review of the week, Jonathan and Corey discuss what other movies they've seen since the last episode as well as anything else they feel like discussing. To help them decide which of the many films to watch each month they started creating themes for them all.

Week 1: I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020)

Netflix has been the home of many new releases this year, but this Charlie Kaufman film was one Jonathan had been excited to see. Still, I'm Thinking of Ending Things (2020) came to the streaming service on September 4th and went unwatched by him until now. Starring Jesse Plemons and Jessie Buckley, the synopsis of the film reads "Full of misgivings, a young woman travels with her new boyfriend to his parents' secluded farm. Upon arriving, she comes to question everything she thought she knew about him, and herself."
