The Big 12 is looking to add Cincinnati, UFC, Houston, and BYU as members of the conference after the departures of Oklahoma and Texas. Minnesota's Mohamed Ibrahim is out for the season with a lower leg injury in their loss against Ohio State last Thursday. Mo and I discuss what impact this loss will be on the Golden Gophers in the future. NFL Coaches and Execs are concerned about NFL players going to games this weekend. Will any players miss out due to attending these games. Bishop Sycamore is a high school who lied to ESPN by telling them that they had 5-star recruits to get on national television. Mo and I discuss how they were able to pull it off.
Now moving into the NFL section of the show, the New England Patriots release Cam Newton and move forward with Mac Jones as the starting quarterback. The NFL was plagued with massive injuries like JK Dobbins for the Ravens, Mo and I discuss what impact this will have on Raven's offense. Houston QB Deshaun Watson is officially inactive for Week One after making the 53 man roster. Mo and I discuss if Deshaun Watson will ever play a game this season. The Ravens sign former Pittsburgh Steeler Le'veon Bell as injuries have plagued their runningbacks. Will Bell regain his 2015 form in Baltimore. The Steelers and TJ Watt contract talks are getting ugly as an agreement has not come between both sides. Will Watt play for the Steelers in week one? TE Mark Andrews and the Ravens agree to a four-year, $56 million extension to keep Lamar's favorite target in Baltimore. We then send off the show with our Week One predictions.
