We’re back with "PICTURE THIS," an exploration through every Best Picture nominee ever. This month, hosts Dylan Randazzo and Chadwick Webb are looking at the nominees of 1958 (for the 1959 ceremony) as part of our YEAR OF CLASSICS. The slate of movies are “Auntie Mame," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "The Defiant Ones," "Gigi," and "Separate Tables." We are also so lucky to be joined by first time guest and long-time follower of this show, Karly Perkins, to share her love for one actor's work in particular.
We break down each nominee individually, discuss some other notable 1958 movies, and in the end, we will rank the nominees ourselves to determine OUR Best Picture winner of 1958. We will also award prizes to our best actors and actresses of these five films.
Also, make sure to stick around for the end, where we will announce NEXT month's year in Oscars history.
