'first class'
it’s like all those men in her life
have considered her to be a letter
something to hold
to fold, to stamp
something to send off
without courtesy of the label
'handle with care.'
some men just do that.
others, rare few others
stand vigil at the mailbox
waiting on the letter
that will forever change their life.
