On this episode, Pastor/Dr. David Murphy shows us that Paul is concerned that the Roman believers may misunderstand or distort the illustrations that he’s used thus far in Chapter 6. He points out from this verse that this misunderstanding does not comes from a lack of man’s intellect but comes from his lack of spiritual understanding (illumination from the Holy Spirit) and his sin nature.
