Cal Eldred pitched for 15 MLB seasons from 1991-2005 with the Brewers, White Sox and Cardinals.
In his post-playing career, he spent time as a baseball broadcaster with the Big Ten Network and in 2017, was introduced as the Kansas City Royals pitching coach, a position he held until the end of the 2022 season.
