Description

Mark Herzlich played in the NFL for six seasons, all spent with the New York Giants. He was a member of the Super Bowl XLVI winning Giants team and also won an ESPY for Best Comeback Athlete in 2011. He is now a college football analyst and also works for the International Justice Mission. He authored a book titled "What It Takes: Fighting For My Life and My Love of the Game," which chronicles his fight against a rare bone disease that led to the discovery of cancer in his leg.

He thought he might not ever play football again. He shares that story this week on "Get in the Game" with Scott Linebrink and how that experience led him to a relationship with God. Herzlich also talks about his work in domestic violence prevention, the importance he places on mental health and what true manhood looks like.

"Get in the Game" is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
