Steven Souza Jr. played eight seasons in the major leagues between the Washington Nationals, Tampa Bay Rays, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs and Seattle Mariners. He joins "Get in the Game" this week to reflect on the ups and downs of his career and how he accepted Christ after some struggles on and off the field early in his career.
He shares about how he broke some rules at times, and one such instance in the minor leagues led him to want to quit baseball. But he says it was some of those moments that ultimately shaped who he became as a player and a person.
"Get in the Game" is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
