Ted Barrett spent nearly 30 years umpiring Major League Baseball games before retiring following the 2022 season. He became one of the most accomplished and most respect umpires in baseball, working five World Series, three World Baseball Classics and two All-Star Games.
He has a master's degree in Biblical Studies and is spending his retirement in ministry, working with Unlimited Potential Incorporated serving as a chaplain for umpires. He developed a good relationship with "Get in the Game" host Scott Linebrink while Scott pitched in the major leagues, and this week on the show they reminisce on some baseball memories as well as talk about Barrett's ministry and heart for service.
"Get in the Game" is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
