In this episode, Erika has conversation with “Working Girls” Jailaih Gowdy and Alexis Smith. Jailaih is a Certified Fitness Trainer and Alexis is a Social Entrepreneur and Chairman of the Board for a non profit organization called “Us Helping Us New Orleans" . Together they created the “For Us By Us Market”, a monthly event in New Orleans held every last Saturday dedicated to supporting the black community. We discuss their journeys in their respective fields, how they are being the change for themselves and the communities in which they reside, and I discover how much these ladies love sushi and living on the edge.
