There is something about our society that makes waiting on God extremely difficult. We have become a society of noise. We cannot deal with not having something feeding our need for input all the time. However, to wait on God is a product of relationship and relationship requires we hear him. The bible tells us in Ps. 46:10 that to know him we must be still. How can we cultivate stillness in a world of noise. I believe the Word of God can give us some help.
