To thrive in our relationship with the Lord, we must build on the proper foundation. In Matthew chapter 7 we learn that the foundation we must build on is hearing and doing the sayings of Jesus found in the Sermon on the Mount. One of the these sayings invlolves being persecuted for Jesus' sake. What does that mean, and why are we blessed when it happens?
