The church of Jesus Christ eventually overcame the Roman Empire to the degree that they went from a persecuted group of Jews to the only official religion of the Empire. How? I believe the teaching in Matthew 5:38-48 tells us how. They lived a lifestyle that was revolutionary and one, that in the end, did overcome the world of their day.
