I’m excited to introduce Betty Vandy, Chef & Writer, who’s travelled across West Africa and is now in Sierra Leone. Born and raised in Liverpool, England Betty started her journey from London, England to Ghana in 2019 then went onto Ivory Coast, Liberia and Sierra Leone to discover her African plant based roots and family food legacy along the way.

She’s currently writing a book titled ‘Gather at the table’ featuring amazing black and brown women from across the world, involved in food as well as chronicling her own journey.
