Description

Sareta Puri is a Scottish-Indian plant-based chef, writer, consultant and food activist. She became vegetarian aged 8, due to a love for animals, and eventually vegan in her late 20s. After a decade working in youth charity sector, Sareta decided to become a ‘professional vegan’ - starting with supper clubs & food writing - and now works on a range of projects that make a positive impact on the planet. Sareta is currently Head Chef of Made in Hackney’s community meal service in London, a cooking teacher, a Diversity & Inclusion Associate for Be Inclusive Hospitality plus works on ad hoc projects relating to food or equality.
