Description

Welcome back to Season 2 of SERVICE AND SACRIFICE!

Today we meet with one of my brothers from the Navy, Pjay Wright.

In the military, the clock doesn't stop. There is always a task to be done, training to complete or missions to prepare for. Often this "hurry up and wait" tempo can develop great work ethic, the appreciation of a schedule and even a need for a sense of purpose through task completion.

As we deployed together I had no idea about the amount of loss he was going through at the time.

Loosing family members while serving in the military can have significant traumatic effects as we compartmentalize the situation to put the mission first. We will be discussing ways to cope with loss, how to positively effect depression, and how to persevere through tough times.

This episode will cover some deeply personal things that may trigger some, as always listener discretion is advised.
