If you have taken the opportunity to dine at some of Ballarat’s newest restaurants and bars, like Lola, Renard and Ragazzone, you may have been privy to Genevieve Wallis’ amazing interior design work. Genevieve, originally born in Ballarat, spent the majority of her early childhood living in Adelaide, before returning to Ballarat to complete her secondary education. After completing a degree in public relations in Geelong she made the move to work in PR in Melbourne representing some big name international clients in their work in Australia. After a short time working in PR, with a growing family and the need for more space and flexibility, Genevieve and her family returned to Ballarat to start fresh. Whilst juggling the demands of raising a young family, Genevieve completed her studies in interior design in Melbourne and a short time later got her first big break when she was offered the opportunity to work with Gorgi Coghlan and Kathryn Mills in the interior design of Lola. Since then Genevieve has grown her business, exploring more hospitality based designs in Renard and Ragazzone as well as working alongside individuals and Ballarat builders in residential design. With her creative designs and finger on the style pulse Genevieve is an up and coming designer who works to help every client achieve their style vision.
