One of the most effective ways that we can stay built up is by daily praying in our heavenly language. The Bible says that "he who speaks in an unknown tongue builds himself up" (1 Cor 14:2). Though the action of praying in tongues builds us, the Holy Spirit always uses the Word as the stone that He builds with. Reading the Word of God gives the Holy Spirit something to work with and build into our spirit. The word and the spirit work together to make us strong so that no matter what comes, we will be found standing.
