Jesus told His disciples in John 14 that He was going to prepare a place for them--a place in His presence that would be opened permanently when He brought His blood into the Holy of Holies in Heaven. "Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus, By this fresh (new) and living way which He opened for us through the separating curtain (veil of the Holy of Holies), that is, through His flesh..." (Hebrews 10:19-20) The Holy Spirit takes us into this new way of living by engraving the laws of God on our very hearts, and God declares, "I will be their God, and they shall be My people." (Hebrews 8:10)
