Episode 91

Farah Ismail talks about carrying on like a super woman, fearlessly and then changing the trajectory of her life.

Farah shares about choices she made, the stories she was telling herself and how she was able to rewrite these stories with purpose and steadfast courage.

Ending a marriage is often viewed as a loss and Farah's perception was tainted by this view. She put up a brave front and hid the struggles she faced every day. Finally, there came the moment when she realized that it was not a loss but a metamorphosis. What happened in that moment was a

rewriting of her story. She learned to reach out for help, became open and vulnerable, and discovered how this actually helped her tap into her strength.

“I didn't have clarity. I did not have the steps very clearly defined. However I did have a vision, a very clear vision of what I want in my life. And so having that and really holding on to that image, helped me work towards that.  And of course, there could be different ways to get to that vision? But I think it's  not about how -  It's about why it is important!'
