Episode 146
What happens when you are going through the motion of living life and yet not really living life?
Sally Green was a woman raised to be a wife, a mother, a homemaker and not provided permission to seek more. Even though Sally wanted to
work, to learn, and to grow she found herself going through the motion of life. Sally Green shares living the life someone else had picked for her.
When 2020 came and she was locked down, Sally realized she was out of sorts physically, mentally, and spiritually. Sally realized she was great at taking care of everyone else, but was not taking care of herself. She
was living a life of survival and not thriving. She decided it was time for a change and began a quest of self-love and self-care and changed her habits, started eating healthier, walking regularly, investing in herself, journaling, and meditating. Sally’s journey included:
1 – Improving her eating – she threw out junk food, gave up alcohol, and focused on what she wanted.
2 – Taking online classes in order to discover and feed her curiosity.
3 – Jumping on an opportunity to join a collaboration book and share her story for the very first time.
Sally wanted more. In order to connect with her co-authors, Sally reached out to each writer and connected in order to get to know who they are and grow her network.
Sally now has a different routine, a different mindset, and has dreams that feed her soul in her life. Sally is now doing things she never had done before, meeting people she never thought she would meet, and doing things she never dreamed she would do.
