Nebuchadnezzar continues to take credit for the prosperity of his earthly kingdom, Babylon. Yet God makes it clear that strength and prosperity come from Him alone. The lesson of chapter 4 is clearly stated by the transformed king at the end of the chapter - God is able to humble those who walk in pride.
