I believe in working hard for what you have. Not everything is handed to you in
life. If you want something you have to work hard and save for it. I might just be starting
my adult life, but I realize money doesn't come easy and you can't spend it all the time.
You have to learn to budget and save with money earned. I've learned this because
recently I had to buy new tires, and if you didn't know, tires are very expensive. After I
bought them, I was broke and realized I needed to work more, so I started looking for
side jobs and other ways that I could make money. Now I realize that next time I need
tires or need to make a bigger purchase I have to save money and prepare for that
purchase, not just take it out of the bank all at once. If you think adults and old people
have nice vehicles and homes, it's because they saved for those things before they
bought them. They prepared for the big purchase before they made it. I have recently
started saving for tires and a beach trip this summer. You don’t have to save much, $10
a week or $20 a pay over time; this amount adds up before you even know it.
I work hard for what I have. I've had a job since I was in about 3rd grade. I
worked with my grandpa getting paid a little bit, but it showed me how to work and save.
It was a very good learning experience. I might be broke and not have a lot of money,
but I've worked for everything I have. I bought the stuff and I can call it mine. When you
buy something yourself and call it yours, you have more respect and care about it more.
Another thing you have to work hard to get others respect and the way others
see you. Yes, this is a lot different than the other stuff I said, but it fits into the category.
The way others see you and the way others treat you is something you have to work
hard to earn. If you are rude to others or always misbehaving then you aren't going to
get the respect back and people will look at you like a jerk and not many people will like
you. You need to be nice and respectful always because you never know who is
watching or listening to you.
This is what I believe and why I believe it: nothing comes easy and nothing is
ever given to you. You have to earn everything.
