Love is Everything!

II. Love is a choice we make because love is a choice that God made towards us. (7-11)

Romans 5:8-10 NKJV
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
John 15:13 NKJV
13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
A. Love is the greatest attribute of Godly living. (7)
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NKJV
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
B. To not love others is to be apart from God. (8)
C. God’s love for me is cemented in Jesus. (9)

7 You have made him a little lower than the angels;

And set him over the works of Your hands.
D. Jesus Paid the Price for my sins. (10)
2 Corinthians 5:20,21 NKJV
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
1 Peter 2:24,25 NKJV
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. 25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

E. Jesus paid the price in love so that I can show His love to others. (11)
