Mindset - What does it mean? And how can you manage your mindset? 

I like to think of the mindset as a set of beliefs, triggers, methods, or notions we hold as a result of our experiences in life. It's what you could call a frame of reference. It's everything that determines how you make sense of the world around you, and of yourself in it. It's how you think, feel, and act. Our minds are basically a personalised world map, created by our past. 

In this episode I go deeper into what it means to function from a Fixed mindset versus a Growth mindset, terms that were introduced by Professor Carol Dweck. And I carried the conversation into NLP from there. 

With the arise of NLP and the understanding of the difference between the conscious and subconscious mind, we learn more and more about how we can transform our mind to allow us to reach what Dweck calls 'ever-higher levels of achievement and give us a greater sense of free will as we go through life, rather than staying stuck in a life that doesn't fulfil or satisfy us.
