If you’re looking to plant and be done with it, consider some long-lived plants. There are a bunch, I name a few on today's GardenBite. Peonies will likely outlive you! There are some roses too... but those are shrubs and that's another 'Bite! Check out the long-lived plants that may make your life easier.
