As a Christian, after receiving a Rhema or Prophetic word, there are some faith actions you have go to do for that word to come to pass. You have to play your part by believing the word, confessing it and praying as per the word for it to come to fruition. 1 John 5:14 (AMP) says;
"This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us"
