Everyone is living in the now, but there are things that are yet to come or happen in the future. What is happening now is a depiction of the things that are yet to come but can also of what can hinder them; and if you work on your present, you can be able to change your future. To the children of God, even if your present isn't great, your future will be because God holds it - with God your tomorrow will be better than your today
