Cathelina Duvert, a graduate of Hofstra University with a degree in Creative Writing and Literature, worked in the book publishing industry for 8 years as a publisher’s assistant before becoming a middle school English Language Arts teacher. Duvert published her poetry in The National Library of Poetry throughout the 1990s. However, she is known for her insightful and authentic blog posts on her website Cathy’s Cross: A Depressive’s Positive Perspective. The blog chronicles her personal journey battling depression and resonates with readers seeking understanding and inspiration. Cathelina lives in New York City. THE BOX is her debut novel.
