This week Chris Lane look at the apostle John, who in his own gospel commonly refers to himself as 'the beloved disciple'. We learn a bit more about John and his relationship with Jesus as well as the other disciples. As we do, we begin to understand that John's desire to follow Jesus was free from ulterior or ambiguous motives; and this experienced freedom impacted his capacity to believe and receive Jesus’ love and acceptance.
