Nick Ogilvie is no stranger to the world of entrepreneurship and hard work. Growing up in Clovis, NM, he learned the ropes from his family of successful business owners and even served on the Parks and Recreation Board in high school, where he gained valuable insights into city practices and politics. Nick's dedication to hard work and customer satisfaction was further solidified during his time working at the Ambassador Hotel, where he learned from industry professionals and was taught the importance of "The Customer Experience – Not just Customer Service" by Phyllis Nickum Golden. When Nick was laid off from his job as a conductor with BNSF Railway, he saw an opportunity in the growing artificial turf industry. With droughts and water shortages becoming more prevalent, Nick knew that artificial turf was a smart and sustainable solution for homeowners looking to maintain a lush green yard.
And with an ROI of just four years, it was a no-brainer.
Fast forward 16 years and Nick has become a pro at installing artificial turf, with projects ranging from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Hard Rock Hotels and even a par 3 golf course on the south rim of the Palo Duro Canyon. Nick's latest project takes him to Lucas, TX, where he continues to bring his expertise and dedication to the table.
