Hello friends in Jesus Welcome, You are with me on 2 Minutes with the Lord

Today, the church celebrates Trinity Sunday; it is the first Sunday after Pentecost.

Trinity Sunday is the only Sunday in the Christian calendar that celebrates the foundational doctrine of the Catholic Church. The church invites us to experience and pray on the most central and unfathomable mystery of faith.

The doctrine of the Trinity means that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct persons the Father, Son and Holy Trinity.

We are called to meditate on the mystery of the Trinity. God, the Father and Creator of the Universe, he sustains all things. The All-powerful, All-knowing and Ever loving God sent forth his Son, Jesus Christ as Redeemer on the earth in flesh and blood so that he can rescue human beings from sin by his life, death and resurrection. Finally, He set the world ablaze with fire with the Holy Spirit, the Sanctifier who prompts the hearts and minds of people to build God’s Kingdom.

In the Gospel, Jesus describes the intimate relationship between the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The love of God poured forth in giving the Son to the world that whoever believes in him may have life eternal.

We are called to experience this mystery when we worship God, when we pray, in the church, and also in the sacraments.

As Christians we share in the life of the Holy Trinity. The deep communion between the Father, Son and the Spirit should dwell within us, as we believe in the Trinity. We can live the great mystery of Holy Trinity through our love and unity towards our neighbours, family members and church communities.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Amen
