Jonathan Green is a Lowcountry artist who recreates momentous and mundane life moments in his vibrant depictions of Gullah Geechee life and culture. In this episode, Green, who served in the U.S. Air Force and studied at the University of Chicago, says that he is a lifelong student of art and culture, and somewhere in each piece of his work is something he learned growing up in the small community of Gardens Corner, South Carolina.
