Can you afford to buy a home? Better yet, can you afford not to buy a home?

 

Buying a home is a personal choice. It’s also likely to be the biggest purchase one makes, and it carries a lot of weight. Homeownership can be lifechanging. If you are paying rent, it is very possible that you can afford to buy a home. And, you do not have to necessarily put down 20% to do so!

 
Just so you know, "first time home buyer" in many cases just means you have not owned a home within the past three years. So you can start fresh from where you are and take advantage of the programs that are available. Don't think you make too much income to qualify. Listen in, take notes, and do your homework!
